I'd like to learn French and Chinese.

Armed with my new-found confidence, i spoke the same words to my dear friend Ch, who's half Filipino & half Singaporean. Nice sya, di nya ko pinahiya, o nag-pretend lang syang di ako masyado narinig. She spoke the same words and it sounded so different from my French!

Argghh buy some audio books! or go to real classes. Books are only a supplement.

Try these:

French = Alliance Francaise De Manille (P.Nicanor St in Makati)
German = Goethe Institute (No idea where hehe)
Spanish = Instituto Cervantes (No idea where)

I've mentioned these places as their tuition fees are affordable.

You can try Berlitz - but it's a bit pricey.

If you're strapped for cash? You can look for tutors in UP (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese) or even in Binondo (For Chinese Languages).

Not bad. If you're going to learn a language, just make sure you really like the language so you won't have a hard time learning it.
